The Bungalow (Caswell ~ Allard) - 1890

Designed by 18-year-old Francis Nims Thompson, "The Bungalow' was built in 1890 as a gift to his second cousins Mary and Charlotte Roberts.  The Roberts sisters had been orphaned as youths and were raised for a time by Francis McGee Thompson.  The original building burned in 1939.  The cottage was rebuilt by Anne Caswell (sister of Sarah Elley) and is now inhabited by the Allards.
